Where we decide the means or purpose of processing your personal data, we are the “controller."
What is this notice about?
This notice explains how we process personal data, as a controller, in relation to individuals (“Data Subject”, “you” or “your”) who play “The Walking Dead: Solve to Survive” (“Game”).
We may apply minor updates this notice from time to time, so you should check back in on a regular basis. We will however reach out to you in relation to more significant updates to this notice.
Please note that other websites or services mentioned in the Game may not be operated by Those Beyond. You should refer to the privacy notices on those websites to understand how they process personal data.
Age requirements
You must be 18 years old in order to play the Game. We therefore do not knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us at the email address provided below. We will delete such information from our systems within a reasonable time.

Gameplay
Purpose
We process certain information relating to Data Subjects to enable them to play the Game and use the Game’s functionalities.
Categories of Personal Date
We process the following information relating to Data Subjects:
To enable Data Subjects to register to play the Game: a unique ID which is generated by Skybound LLC and assigned to each Data Subject, alongside the “avatar” and “faction” which each Data Subject has selected in order to play the Game.
To enable Data Subjects to use the Game’s chat functionality: a Data Subject's username and information about the Data Subjects which is contained within posts that they (or other individuals) publish when using the chat functionality.
How we use it
We may process this information in accordance with the terms of our contract [insert link to terms] with you (where we need this information to provide our Game to you) or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
We may also process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in improving our Data Subjects’ experience and access to the Game.
You are under no obligation to provide this information, however if you do not, we may not be able to deliver certain services or functionalities via the Game.

We do not share this information with third parties.
How Long we keep this Information for
We hold this information until the end of August 2024.
Enquiries
Purpose
We process certain information about Data Subjects in order to: (i) review and respond to their enquiries, complaints or questions about the Game; (ii) provide customer care services; and (iii) improve, test and monitor the quality and delivery of the Game.
Categories of Personal Data
We may collect the following information directly from Data Subjects when they submit any enquiries, complaints or questions: name, email address and any other information that Data Subjects submit as part of their enquiries, complaints or questions.
If Data Subjects do not provide us with this information, we will not be able to receive or respond to Data Subjects’ enquiries, complaints or questions.
How we use it
We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests, being to: (i) understand how Data Subjects use our Game; (ii) promote the success of our business; and (iii) provide responsive customer care services. Such interests are not overridden by Data Subjects’ interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
Recipients
We may share this information with Skybound LLC if the relevant enquiry, complaint or question is addressed to Skybound LLC, or otherwise relates to Skybound LLC - noting that we are collaborating with Skybound LLC in order to create and deliver this Game.
How long we keep this Information for
We retain this information for one year following the date on which the relevant enquiry, complaint or question has been resolved or otherwise closed.
Analytics
Purpose
We process certain information relating to the device on which Data Subjects are accessing the Game to: (i) identify Data Subjects; (ii) understand how Data Subjects play our Game; (iii) improve, test and monitor the quality and delivery of the Game; (iv) identify and correct any problems on the Game; and (v) perform essential business operations.
Categories of Personal Data
We collect:
Certain “identifiers” which we use to identify when Data Subjects play the Game, and for how long.
Information relating to Data Subjects’ in-game achievements and events, progress and scores.
Information about how Data Subjects feel about the Game, and general feedback in relation to the Game.
Information relating to the device and technology which Data Subjects use to play the Game (including information on the type of controller used to play the Game).
Information relating to Data Subjects’ Game settings (such as the language settings).
Information about errors which Data Subjects encounter when playing the Game.
How we use it
We only process this information where we have a Data Subject’s consent to do so. Data Subjects can withdraw their consent for us collecting this information by privacy@thosebeyond.io.
Recipients
We use Google Analytics and Amplitude to collect this information, using cookies. For further information on how we use this technology, please refer to Section 4 (“Cookies, analytics and similar technologies”) below. We share this information with Skybound LLC in an aggregated and anonymised format.
How long we keep this Information for
We hold this information until the end of August 2025.
Storage and Transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom, regularly collaborate with an international network of partners and may from time-to-time use subcontractors based in other countries. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we implement certain contractual measures in order to safeguard such transfers, where required by applicable data protection laws to do so. Other than as set out above, we may disclose your information:
